This brilliant band was founded in the Los Angeles of California. The story of how Metalica was formed is interesting and different at the same time than other mainstream bands. Everything started on a fine morning of 1981. The date was 28th of October. A drummer named Lars Ulrich was impressed by a guitar player named James Hetfield. James used to sing too along with playing guitar. On that day, Lars gave James an offer. Lars said to James that he had a track ready for his band and if James is interested to check that out. James was a musician by sole and he couldn’t refuse that offer but the actual truth is Lars didn’t have a band at that time. Lars took James to his place and then they recorded their first song. When they were recording their first song in a cheap recorder, they didn’t understand what they were doing and how will be the impact but they were sure that they would form a band together. When they become serious regarding the band, James asked one of his friends name Ron McGovney to join the band. Then Dave Mustaine came and took the duty of playing the lead guitar. Thus history was made for Metalica.

This is basically how this band was made. It is not a fancy story. Everything happened easily and there was nothing much in the story. According to Lars, this is the most awesome part about the history that it is too simple. It is as if like they were made to form a band together and they did so.
Metalica started to perform stage shows in a quick time. They started their stage show journey from San Francisco and then they moved to LA. Every single member of this band was becoming stars before even having their first album. People loved them in stage shows and they were soon called the mother of heavy metal. With the same studio they recorded their third album “Master of Puppets” in 1985. This album was the highest selling album.  It creates new opportunities for the band. The band’s major release was the album “And Justice for All” which gained both critical and popular success.  In 1991 their ‘Black’ album included the hit song ‘Enter Sandman’. With this song they exposed on the MTV which made them superstars.  In 1990 they launched their fourth album with ‘One on One Recording’ studio.
