The Band, Metalica

If anyone search about Metalica history or their biography then he will find that this band was not that much popular or talented as it is today. It took a lot of years and hard work to stand as the leading metal band in the world. By researching on Metalica history we can easily compare the changes of their musical and lyrical content from the early 1980 to 2000.  Lars Ulrich was a man from Denmark who wanted to start a band in 1980. The new style song started in England in late 70s.  When Metalica started their career all the members were only teenagers who wanted to start playing loud music. The current band members are Hatfield, Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo. There is a very interesting story of the name Metalica in Metalica history. One of the friends of Lars who was starting a metal band asked Lars some title name. Lars friend gave him the candidate names and Metalica was on that list. Lars liked the name so much that he asked his friend to choose another name as he wanted to keep the name for himself.  In 1983 the band came to front with James, Lars, Cliff Burton and Kirk Hammett. In 1986 Cliff Burton was killed by a serious bus accident. That was a distressing point in Metalica history. Metalica’s first album ‘Kill Em All’ was released in late 1983. This album was a mix of heavy metal and jarring riffery of punk attitude.  In 1984 they worked with the Sweet Silence Studio for their second album ‘Ride the Lighting’. This album showed everyone that Metalica is just only a heavy metal band but their music has a deep maturity and intensity. With the same studio they recorded their third album “Master of Puppets” in 1985. This album was the highest selling album.  It creates new opportunities for the band. The band’s major release was the album “And Justice for All” which gained both critical and popular success.  In 1991 their ‘Black’ album included the hit song ‘Enter Sandman’. With this song they exposed on the MTV which made them superstars.  In 1990 they launched their fourth album with ‘One on One Recording’ studio. Still now with these our major album Metalica has released nine albums.  In 2001 the band started working on their both personal and creative relationship. Gradually the band becomes proud, confident and humble.  This was a very short Metalica history. From 1980 to present this band has seen many ups and down. The death of Burton and the leave of lead guitarist Dave Mustaine was a serious issue of this band. In the beginning many critics didn’t even appreciate the lyrics of the songs. But despite of all the band has achieved a highest position that a band cannot even imagine.  The new wave of heavy metal which started in England now waves all over the world.  With all these stories this band has made its own history.
